Are you ready for the 21st Century?

Read the following 12 questions. Decide whether this website is a perfectly fitting place for them? 

 

  1.  Have you ever paused to think what you have now may not last?
  2.  Have you ever blamed yourself for your own downfall?
  3.  Are you always too busy with everyday matters and have forgotten about the bigger picture, that is, your future well-being?
  4.  Have you ever given a thought to changing things fundamentally to bring about a better future?
  5. What makes some people pick themselves up time and again when they stumble and fall?
  6. Do you have a goal in life, and the passion to reach out for that goal?
  7. How does one find a goal in life?
  8. How often do you humbly learn from someone you scorn?
  9. Did you know you are your own toughest competitor? Are you able to overcome your own complacency, to have a sense of urgency to seek improvement before it is too late?
  10. Have you been doing things entirely for self-interest and by doing so, destroy the goodwill amongst the members in your group?
  11. Are you aspired to bring a better life for human beings?
  12. Do you have hope for your future or are you consumed by anxiety?

 

In fact, these are questions the management book "Competing for the Future" is trying to address. It points out to us how to become an effective leaders of for-profit companies, be it large or small, in the 21st century. It tells us how to make changes if we are stuck in any of those undesirable situations!


 
How interesting it is to learn that management, faith, religion, and spirituality are indeed, one and inseparable!
