Education for all

"When I was a young US Navy officer serving on a ship carrying troops in and out of Korea, ... War is such a terrible, brutal, devastating way of solving problem.  Still, wars persist... if there was to be resolution at all, it must be entwined with education.  Accessible education for everyone, no matter who they are, where they are or what their condition in life might be" (Jones, 2001, p. 225).
