Why do we wear cultivation robes and what if we don't have them?

This robe is a formal dress during the Yuan Dynasty of China. This tradition survives mainly because it signifies respect for the Buddha and to give the practice group an orderly and uniform appearance.

It is not compulsory to wear the cultivation robe. However, the center does have some spare ones for practitioners to borrow for the day.
